Main Character Moments: Summer in My Junk Journal

Some people spend summer chasing sunsets.

I chase paper scraps, iced lattes, and moments worth gluing into my journal.

There’s something about warm days that makes everything feel worth documenting.  The way the sun hits my page just right, how a pressed daisy ends up between two memories, and that movie ticket I accidentally saved because it matched my washi tape. My junk journal isn’t just a scrapbook, it’s a summer diary for the plot.

A place for late-night doodles, mini road trip maps, and that one emotional grocery list. (Don’t ask.) So if you see someone writing under a tree with ink on their fingers and a weird amount of envelope scraps in their bag… just know: She’s not messy. She’s romanticizing her life.
